Product testing and failure tracking is an integral part of Precision Manufacturing. The system has the capability to assign and track serial numbers of individual manufactured products to give a complete build history up until the product is shipped.
Manufactured products can be tracked on a serial number basis. Any actions done to the product including inspection, fault logging and repair can be logged against a serial number to give a complete profile history.
Serial number tracking is also used to track parent and child products. By assigning a child product to a parent product a complete breakdown can be obtained for any product. If a replacement component or a product recall is required the system can provide serial numbers and shipping details for the individual products required.
